Did you get this to work? I tried playing with it yesterday but it's not clear how it should work. One of the settings asks for a server address. Any idea what that might be?

I just got everything in and haven't hooked up to the internet yet. I'll ask my son, if anyone knows how, or can figure it out it is him.

    Response from Foresight UK office:

"With regards to your query about online play, this option is still under construction, the programmers are in the process of setting up a lounge area where you can join games or create your own and let other Foresight users join your game.

I will get some feedback from my colleagues in the USA and update you on the progress."

Thanks for checking on that. Just as Red Chain repackages course for other systems, (whew that was hard..where's my money?)...online play is probably the easiest 'programing' to do. They don't have to reinvent the wheel, model it after software that is out there. Just like forum software, cookie cutter. My son plays real time first person shooters with people around the globe, golf play should be a no brainer.

Hope they get this up and running by this winter. Looks like I'll be joining the GC2 community soon (thanks for the tip, Claydog) =|;0-)

Thanks psace! All due to Claydog's "heads up". I really didn't think I'd be able to work it into the budget and had ruled it out as an option until I caught his post yesterday morning and contacted the seller last night. I'll even be able to upgrade the impact screen and hitting mat that I buy from Cory with this deal! This year, Christmas comes in August, for me =|;0-)

Indeed it is Claydog. I DO feel sorry for Tom's business not panning out... His website is down now but I've seen some of the ads and specials he was running this past winter and spring to try to keep Duffer's going. If we had a place like that around my area, I probably wouldn't have made the effort to build my own setup! I was back in touch with him today, finalizing the shipping arrangements since FedEX and UPS aren't reliable for home deliveries "off the paved roads" where I live. Hopefully, I'll have the system sometime next week!

Any update on the online play? Insulation and interior walls should be completed on my building within the next few days and then it's just getting the screen, projector and computer setup. Hoping we can get in some group play over the winter!
