Course Recomendations around Ottawa
Hey, looking at golfing in Ottawa area next week. What are best courses to play? Also are there coupons or good deals going on on any of them, ty.

I'd suggest the following: eQuinelle, Stonebridge, Loch March, Outaouais - those are my favs. eQuinelle and SB have twilight rates if you are looking to play in the afternoon. I think LM does as well. Other than that it's full pop at those courses.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

+1 on what Jeffc suggested --- I would add the Marshes.

Anyone golfed Hammond this week. Like the layout and the greens are usually good but sometimes the fairways are brutal in this kind of weather. Anyone out there to give me a heads up, want to go out this afternoon.

Golfed the back nine yesterday evening (the front had their men's league on it). It is in actually pretty good shape!. Tee boxes a little uneven but otherwise very playable. Fairways have recovered nicely this spring. You can still see some of the damange on a couple of holes on the back....but again, just fine for play. Their 1st cut rough is thick and juicy. Their greens, once again, are perfect!
To assist with their known drainage problem, they have cut a ditch across the lower portions of the course - properly marked and new bridges installed at all the appropriate spots. The new ditch actually forces you to 'manage' a few of the holes more closely...cutting down the number of simple 'long bombs' and forcing you to position yourself properly with your tee shot to avoid ditch and give you a chance to get into the green.
We'll be back!"If profanity had any influence on the flight of the ball, the game of golf would be a lot easier than it is" - Horace Hutchinson (1903)

Golfed Hammond today and concur. Greens are great and the fairways are a huge improvement over previous years. The staff are very friendly and tee times are now spaced at 10 minutes. Did the round today in 4 hours flat. I'll be back !

depending on how much cash you want to fork out, Outaouais is the best in the East and I really like LochMarch in the west
