Reshafting a Callaway Razr Hawk driver

    Anyone tried this?

I understand the hosel is .350 diameter but I have read some are larger diameter. I want to install a .335 tipped shaft and am wondering if I can shim it and use a regular ferrule? Or do I need to order the adapter?

My plan is to cut the shaft and drill it out rather than risking over heating it.

Mine has been reshafted with a 45" XCaliber 6+ Series shaft. Bought it this way so have no further info about how it was done.

My plan is to use a Xcaliber 5 or 6. Still undecided.

Are you happy with the 6+

    You need one of these:
CALLAWAY RAZR HAWK, FT-iz AND DIABLO FAIRWAY/HYBRID ADAPTOR

    Obviously you're not a golfer.

    Or this one:

I would call Golfworks and ask them which one is best.
    Obviously you're not a golfer.

You can shim it Dwayne, no problem. Or install with a new shaft. Interesting it's a .350. I've shimmed a driver before and no-sweat. The Ferrule is a different story - you can order one though. You don't NEED to order an adapter. Adapters are fun if your playing with a lot of shafts and / or testing. Let us know how you do.
