    Coming Soon to Ottawa?

The infamous black Nike One ball will be released to the public at the end of February. Two ball sleeves will be available with the purchase of a dozen Nike One Gold or Black label balls. The quantities will be very limited and you need to ask your favourite golf retailer if they're going to bring some in.

There are no plans to offer full dozens of the ball, just a value add-on to the existing One line.
When applying the Rules, you follow them line by line. You don't read between them.

What a GREAT marketing idea to change the color of golf balls that Pros or amateurs use in serious play, ignoring the pink and yellow golf balls of course.

    But why?

The only trouble is what is the benefit? Yes, they are different, but it would seem to be a change for the worse. White is the most visible under normal conditions. Just imagine playing with these late on a summer evening. For the same reason, I find the yellow, orange and other colours are not as easy to follow. The only time it helps is when you are pulling several balls out of the cup at the same time.
    Cheers,
    Tim

There's no need for that ball to have any benefit to the golfers. It got you talking about it didn't you? Now Nike is on your lips instead of ProV1 and/or HX?? They have achieved their goal: to get a buzz around Nike products; to get you to buy the Nike balls... marketing is a powerful tool.

Which is true if we all buy the balls. I can say I won't, and never will...now if they were good AND cheap, I'd buy em.
