    Butt end of the shaft

by extending the butt end of your driver 1 inch will it change the overall stiffness of the club? i know it will change the swingweight but what about the stiffness.

    thanks JY

It will change the measured CPM because of the extra length and it will feel more flexible.

In terms of actual stiffness, i.e. resistance to bending, it won't be any stiffer.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

If anything it will marginally soften the shaft . Same head weight on a longer beam equals softer
