GolfLogix on Iphone

Grabbed the Golflogix app last night and paid the 19$ for the yearly membership. I've dl'd a few courses and some it says it saves the aerial images when saved in your favourites however others (equinelle) say they don't save the images. So does that mean every time i'm going to play there I need to DL the course imagery at home before playing the course? Do i have to dl it hole by hole?

You can download them on the go as long as you have Internet access on your phone. Equinelle is one course that doesn't have the hole view yet due to google not having update images. They somehow have the bunkers mapped out. Change the view to the gps option on the left side, instead of the green option.

Just about very other course that I've played has been mapped. Hopefully they update google maps eventually.

I have been using Golf Logix for over a year and now just got the Championship version today. You can download any couse on 3g as well, on the fly. And for some reason, even when i dont have much a cell signal like at nation, the app will still work and be pretty accurate. In all honnestly, let's say the App tells me it's 115 yards and the guy beside me says it's 118yds according to his 500$ range Finder, well guess what...it's the same club ill be hitting and I have 480$ lol!
