Has Les Vieux Moulins recovered from the dry summer?

Just wondering if anyone has played there in the last month or so? Conditions?

I have never been and was thinking I'd like to try it.

Well now would be the time but I went in September and it was not too bad

It has recovered and it is a great course to play when it has rained a lot but the fairways are not the greatest around unfortunately. Whatever grows grows. They have always kept the greens in good condition though.

Some fairways are good. Fairways on holes 1, 3, 6, 7, 9, 10, 13 and 18 have not fully recovered. Temporary tee on 5. Tee box under repair. New tee box being built on 13. The hole will be a par five. Hole number 9 has gone back to a par 5. When all the work is done the par will be 73 (38-35). Greens are scheduled to be punched this week. Portable toilets, ball washers, rakes have been removed. Clubhouse is closed most of the time, but may open if numbers justify.

Where are they putting the tee on 13? Not much room (that belongs to the course...)

Standing on the tee, the new tee box is almost straight back about 25 yards, but angled away from the OB and the houses on the left. It is very close to the proerty line. Tee shots heading right have a chance of hitting the green on 12 because two large spruce trees have fallen. Hitting driver will not be a good choice, unless you can shape your shot right to left.
