OttawaGolf Photo Contest 2012

Announcing the 2012 OttawaGolf Photo contest. Get your digital camera and put it in your golf bag.
The pictures we are looking for are landscapes that highlight the features of the golf courses. If people are in them that's fine, but the main subject should be the golf course itself.
At the end of each month a page will be created to display the entries and users will be able to vote for the winners.

Submitting Images

• Images are to be submitted as email attachments in .jpg format only to PhotoContest@OttawaGolf.com
• Name the image file with the course and 2 digit hole number ie: CourseName09.jpg
• Include your first and last name in the email

Image Acceptability

• Please submit the original size image - as large as possible. Minimum 1920 x 1080px
• Images must be from Eastern Ontario & Western Quebec golf courses
• Landscape format - horizontal composition
  Be advised all images will be cropped to 16:9 horizontal format.
  Vertical images that cannot be cropped horizontally cannot be accepted
• Images of low quality cannot be accepted
  ie: grainy, unsharp, lens flare, over/under exposed, camera shaken, up-scaled from low resolution etc,
• Images where individuals faces are clearly identifiable cannot be accepted
• The course landscape is to be the main subject of the photo, not the people playing golf or wildlife on the course.

Contest Rules

• Amateur photographers only
• One entry per photographer per month
• Images must be taken by the contestant
• Digital enhancement is permitted.
• No signature overlay or watermarks.

Image Rights

• Submission of the photograph grants OttawaGolf the right to use the photograph in its media, including but not limited to its website, and marketing materials. Any photograph selected to be used in that way would be done so with proper attribution to the photographer.

A Winner Every Month

• Monthly photo contest winners will receive a ReservationMasters OttawaGolf Club last minute membership valid for one year from the date of your win. If a contestant wins multiple months, the RM membership is extended to one year from the date of the last win.
