It kind of sucks they're all mini tour players. It's not like the first one the search for the undiscovered gem. The scratch golfer that never got a break. This is just a bunch of aspiring pro golfers looking to get some exceptions. If they don't get it they just go back to the tour and try to do it that way. I'll watch to see Danielle. Yummy.

Looks like it will be a pretty good show, but I have to agree with Andru(WHAT???) that it would be better if it were ladies who never got there chance rather then pro golfers. If there pros and they can't make the tour, maybe there is a reason.

Danielle is only 28? She looks older and has had some work done .........I wouldn't be surprised if we find out she was a man, did you see her thighs when she swung the club, they're bigger than mine

I too agree with Denny and Andru. They should have sought out the ladies who really needed a "Big Break". I mean the ones who have the talent to play on tour, but could not/did not make it for some reason not related to their playing ability. IMO, any of those Futures Tour players can try and get their LPGA card anytime (and probably have). So, why are they not already there if they are good enough? Well, nothing we can do about it now except root for Jan.

rant on/ Didn't want to comment on the Big Break III as I don't feel they've done it right this time BUT... how mad was I to see that someone who has already played on the LPGA (Cindy) is trying for her Big Break. She has had it... move one lady!!!! You've had your chance at the Big Leagues. Arghhh angers me.... but anyway... /rant off

Good going Jan ! Still in it, and hitting lots of good shots too.

I've known Jan for about 5 months now, so I would love for her to win it and get those exemptions.

While I understand the above posts regarding some of the girls already being professionals, you have to realize that in women's pro golf, there aren't any other options. There aren't the plethora of mini-tours that there are for guys. Hence, there was a smaller pool of women golfers to choose from...as I understand it, the Golf Channel actually went to a Futures Tour event and had some interviews/auditions with some of their players...

    Anyways, GO JAN !!!

I was glad to see Felicia gone. I couldn't stand another bunch of shows with that female Don! Enough of "I have that shot" and then missing it.

My sentiments exactly. From what I saw, she was not nearly as good as she made herself out to be. And talk about melodramatic, what with that yelling at her ball on every shot - "SIT DOWN BALL". I'm not going to miss that.

I agree Jan is as good as the others, but her nerves do not seem the best. Although I am hoping Jan gets through, Pam is really a true "Big Break" story and IMHO has the most potential. Once she gets over her "anxiety" and not being sure how she fits in with the experienced golfers, she could go far.

    Jan kinda let that happen...

I know, "I'm a great ball striker, the driver is the best part of my game". She hasn't hit a good drive yet! I hope she gets the boot, she really gets on my nerves. I think Liz is the best player there or Valeria. Cindy has the best mind game but she had her chance, let some young blood have a shot.

Valeria's style is cool to watch, very punchy and determined. Liz is a good player and I like her attitude but she's inconsistent as all get out. Danielle is really ing me off with her inability to back up her arrogance. Cindy is cool and has the best mind game but I doubt she could play in the bigs.

My money's on Pam now that Jan's gone. When she gets in the zone she's pure magic.

    Pam has the most potential

but Pam needs the experience of playing under pressure. I'd really like to see her win.

    Lizzie is a player.

Cindy can't hit the ball out of her shadow. Great short game, but the girls on tour today are there because they hit the ball a long way.

Danielle is a 3 dressed up as a nine. She wants to be taken seriously as a golfer, then wears that tiny skirt. Get real!
Every shot (except putting) is "my strength". She also expresses herself poorly. When she said the other girls didn't understand competetive golf she was really comenting on their lack of competetive experience. The first time ANYONE faces a 3 foot putt for something significant they find out about N-E-R-V-E-S. How could Pam not take her comment personally? ... you just said she was the weakest player!

I doubt Danielle has many female friends.
I doubt any of her male friends can see past the hair, the makeup and the clothes. (if they did they would probably see a Bee with an ITCH)

yeah she really rubs me the wrong way. Not that being a * ever stopped anyone from being a competitive athlete.

She definitely has the killer instinct if she develops the game to match it

Granted Danielle drove the ball well, but the whining and moaning of "not knwing there was a bunker in front of the green" is irritating. Poor course management, Cindy did the right thing by scoping the hole first. Pam's "lay up" with the 3wd was amusing at best, but my money is on her none the less. She has what it takes minus the confidence. But hey it's golf, look what happened to Liz. She had the game but one bad shot cost her big.

Well I was right, Danielle won...

As much as I didn't like her, she did win it, and Pam needs to work on her putting. I also like the way they present a kazillion gifts to the winner while runner up has to stand there and smile...

I think that Danielle has a more manufactured, but repeatable swing; where Pam has a more natural look/feel. I'd rather play a round with Pam. Either one will get slaughtered on the tour.

After reading so many negative posts about Danielle, I was kinda rooting for her to win (I pull for underdogs) until I started watching last night. Man! Her ego really starts to grate on the nerves.

Either way, congratulations go to Danielle for playing a good round of golf. I'd love to have that Crossfire myself.

I can't believe Barbie Doll won!

Pam certainly has way more upside (I can't believe she has only been playing for 3 years).

Barbie is the Queen of trying to talk herself into beliving something about herself that is untrue. For example, she think she is the most beautiful person on the planet (her attidude and lack of humility takes away from her looks), she thinks driving is the best part of her game (given the amount of fairways she missed, that doesn't say a lot about the other aspects of her game) and she believes she is mentally tough (she is whiny, easily disturbed on the course and constantly shows her emotions when she is frustrated - hardly the definition of mentally tough!).

I also thought it lacked class having Pam standing beside Barbie Doll when she was presented with all her prizes - slap in the face.

I expect Barbie to get creamed on the LPGA tour - if she doesn't I have serrious concerns for the women's game.
