I'm sure it will hit alot of us old timers when he does tee it up at St.Andrews for the final hurrra. Hats off to THE greatest golfer EVER to hit a ball.

I've always had a penchant for pulling for the underdog. As a kid, I used to sometimes root against Jack and maybe resented him a little for taking the spotlight away from Arnold Palmer. Then I'd find myself rooting for Johnny Miller, Tom Watson, or someone that could beat Jack. It wasn't until later that I became a Nicklaus fan. His '86 Masters nearly brought me to tears. He was...no...he IS a most remarkable champion. I'd love to see him make the cut at St. Andrews.
