SMT Golf ... Still a Going Concern ?

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone on these boards knew if SMT Golf is still around. I play with their driver, 3 wood, and hybrid and love them. That said, they have not released a new driver head in 3 or 4 years, and I can't seem to access their discussion forum from their website any longer.

Anyone know what's up ?

Hi Andrew - I can't answer your question. But I did call them a while back because they produce .303 stainless steel irons. Not any more - they told me they were retooling but still head a few wedges. I suspect they still have driver heads because a lot of third party people can make them. Other than that I think they have scaled way, way back.

Yes they are still in business. Focus has changed a little to golfing events as well as components.

As I understand it, with the current situation with economy, components and independent golf shops, SMT found it prudent to hold off on releasing any new designs. I do have product available.

Geek Golf is about to release a new driver head called "No Brainer" . Samples have been approved after a couple of years in the works. I also stock the Geek line.

Both have fared very well on the long drive circuit for several years.
