    Clubmakers.

I am thinking of having a custom set of Sanke Eyes 600b/600c set made this winter and was wondering if anyone could recommend a clubmaker in the Ottawa area. I was also hoping to get some feedback if anyone already has these irons.

I had already bid on those exact irons but was wondering if it would be better to go and have them fitted.

Even with the little discount that Golfsmith gives me, the heads of a set of these clubs from 3 to PW COST me about $340. Add another $100 for shafts and grips and about $120 for butt frequency matching and assembly, you are looking at about $560.

The Ebay deal sounds quite good in comparison. Now, if the shafts were suitable, but too long they could easily be shortened, and if too short an extension could be added, to achieve a length that would be suitable for you. After this the lies should checked dynamically by hitting shots off of a lie check board and then adjusted if necessary.

The heads are made from S45C carbon steel, which is harder than most OEM forgings that are made from 8620 and similar. Still, you should easily get 2-3 degrees in any direction if needed, and based on BC MIST's price breakdown, you won't find a better price than ebay. Nice looking combo set. Happy bidding, as they say.
When applying the Rules, you follow them line by line. You don't read between them.

They will probably come on sale brand new in the near future. I will keep you posted.

    Snake Eyes

Check the for clubs for sale section of this forum. I noticed a couple of snake eyes sets are coming up for sale.
