V1 ios and Android does not have Mic trigger. V1 pro for windows is the go with ps3 eye cam is 75 fps. Motionview for windows has it as well. Mic trigger is necessary in my opinion.

I always thought it was a hardware/memory issue as there has to be continual recording but constant dumping until it saves the last seconds into a file.........but the Swingbyte2 app does it on iPad.

I could only find the Flea 3 which max out at 1280x1024 @150 FPS (mono) or 1328x1048 @ 120 FPS (color)
Í had sold my two EX-F1's because I though that ximea would release their 640x480 @ 600 fps (around euro 800,-) really soon. That was 8 months ago
I'm using now one ps3 cam with some self writen software that uses the cam mic to trigger the recording. I can set the total time before the trigger it has to record and the time after the trigger it has to keep recording.

Frans
You can change the mode of the flea3 to reduce the region of interest. This can reduce pixels to 640 by 480 and frame rate is 230fps.
If you have 2 USB3 ports and $1200 the flea3 is the go.

As an offshoot and bonus of a new cell phone, being a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 I have discovered it takes video in slow motion .
Think it is 60 fps or by the looks even belter .
With V1 running on the near 6 Inch screen and 2.3GHZ processor with 3 Meg ram It is an easy and portable option .
Will post some video when I work out how.

Just a hint.
When you want to trim video do it in gallery before importing to V1. Only takes seconds rather than a minute.

Which of the Note 3 models do you have N900X CPA? The US model N9000 got a lot of complains on the Xda forum!

N9005 think it has faster processor and more ram.
I have had HTC phones for 13 years including 3 xda's but the specs of the one max were not good.
I will have a look at xda developers and see what the issues were but after 120 fps I am in love.

Been looking to upgrade too but has only found the N9000 unlocked and that is even region locked which doesn't work for me.
Good to hear it works well.
Is the youtube link from your inflatable enclosure? If so bigger than I thought is would be!

Not me. Don't have ps4 yet and Galaxy Note 3 is a dream...In fact may get a galaxy camera to link up with swingprofile for 2 cam setup if it works well.

Inspired by this comment I tried my son-in-laws S4 (since it apparently does the same).
I'm probably missing something but I didn't see much improvement over my Note 1 except getting 120 fps instead of 60 fps recording. The fps difference doesn't seem significant as both are smooth but neither is fast enough to freeze the club and that was really the only "flaw" I had with the Note 1.
Am I missing something? Does the Note 3 do something else? thx
EDIT1: Hang on...I tested indoors...now testing outdoors and there seems to be a bigger difference. Also I'm not sure my Note 1 is really recording at 60 fps... Will update post when I've finished verifying the details...
EDIT2: OK final results. My general assessment in the initial post stands but the details became complicated.
I recorded the Note 1 at 720p which should be 60 fps but the codec indicates 30 and the actual frame spacing in the golf swing would agree that it is only 30 fps.
I then recorded the S4 using four different settings:
1) Normal: the codec indicates 30 fps and the frame spacing agrees
2) SloMo-Half: the codec indicates 30 fps and the frame spacing suggests 60 fps
3) SloMo-Quarter: the codec indicates 30 fps and the frame spacing suggests 120 fps
4) SloMo-eighth: the codec indicates 15 fps and the frame spacing suggests 120 fps
In all cases the actual amount of blur was similar and suggested an actual shutter speed faster than 120 fps. The blur outdoors was much improved over the blur indoors.
When played back at the same real rate the S4 looked smoother at 1/4 and 1/8 speed. Above that both were smooth enough to not be a concern.
In the end, the S4 "120 fps improvements" only make the 1/4 and 1/8 speeds look smoother. It is particularly noticeable on 1/8 speed which is quite smooth on the S4 and jerky on the Note 1. But otherwise there doesn't seem to be much difference. Of course that is the S4 which may not behave the same as the Note 3!Last edited by FaultyClubs; 04-06-2014 at 05:25 PM.

Could any of the PS3 camera users help me with some V1 troubleshooting?
I did the .config file step and I am able to successfully record 320x240 at 125fps out of the cleye test program (I am video-recording a stopwatch to count fps).
When in V1, I can choose 640x480 or 320x240 under the "Options" menu, but both of these default to 30fps.
Then I went under the "Setup" menu and chose "Video Capture Pin" and saw all of the higher fps choices, but when selecting and then "applying", none still recorded faster than 30 fps (again, recording a stopwatch, not using the framecounter at the bottom of V1).
For those of you who have said you're getting 75fps, could you validate this as I did? I can get the V1 clock to imply 75fps but it is still really just 30fps.
Thanks!!!
