Designing a website for all platforms is not easy. It has always been one of the biggest challenges since day one. This seems to provide improved usability for many mobile users without much impact on desktops so... Yay!

Not true Dan - Environment Canada has been dropped from the weather section. One of the benefits of the old style was that you could easily compare The Weather Network with EC - and now you can't. Plus with this new style you have to drill down farther to get to the weekly forecast.
Maybe its just my computer, but I do not get all of the choices on the top menu when I'm in the forum - most of the second row is gone. If I want to navigate from the forum to the weather for example, I have to go somewhere else outside the forum first. The old style did not have this limitation. Perhaps this is just a glitch, but if it is by design then it is not a better navigation experience.

Weather:
Analytics showed that virtually nobody used the Environment Canada Links. The new weather page offers more localized choices around the region.

Too much RTC (Resistance To Change)... You guys don't get enough credit or thanks for putting all the effort into providing us here in Ottawa with a first class Forum. Thanks!

LOL I am used to the RTC factor. The comments definately do help in the process. It's always a matter of pros and cons when you have a site that people have used for so long.

Well, perhaps not actually a "forum" comment, I'm very pleased to see some upgrades to the line-up that happened over the Winter. Specifically the booking in advance at Meadows (from 3 to 5 days) and the addition of spots at Metcalfe. Good news for us Eastern members. Good work! With RM being the only club cracking the Meadows code this just makes sense. I know EG was very confident they could add Meadows but don't see it on their list. Dan, you silver-tongued-devil!
