Shaft with Str8 fit adapter

Just wOndering if anyone knows if the adapter can be removed and the shaft used in a regular head?
I have a Diamana 'ilima shaft in a machspeed driver with the str8 fit technology and want the shaft put in my Superfast 2.0.
The shaft is .335 tip I think an Superfast is .350...

Anybody think the switch can be made?

A .335 shaft can fit in a .350 head . All is needed is a shim.

And does a SHIM affect playability or performance of the shaft?
I don't use my Nike driver and was told the Diamana 'ilima shaft is a VERY good shaft, so I figure I should put it in my Superfast 2.0 driver.
So step one is getting the adapter safely removed, then step 2 is installing the shaft with a shim...

The shim does not affect playability at all and .335 shafts are better and more expensive than .350 shafts to begin with.

The other thing to consider is the playing the length not sure about the Str8 fit adapter but it may not install to the same playing length as the insertion and BBGM may differ. I know when I pulled a shaft from a TM Superfast and installed a R11 tip it played 1/2" shorter.
