I think that you may be premature in your assumption that this magic will continue. The golf gods are quicker to snatch the magic away than they are to bless you with it.

One interesting aspect of this commitment is that it will force me to track my birdies and eagles - something that I have never done before. It will be interesting to see what those numbers look like at the end of the year.

I'm impressed, bNeill. Averaging 4 birdies per round would put you in the top ten on the PGA Tour. And 700 birdies last year would mean that you had to play at least 175 rounds while averaging 4 birdies per round. That's a torrid pace. We could use you on our Ryder Cup team.

I can hit all the par 5's at my course in 2 and one of the par 4's in 1. 4 birdies a round is a product of hitting it 300 yards on a 6600 yard course and doing nothing in the summer/fall but play tournament golf and practice.
