I admire your endurance mpare .. I did 3 rounds in 4 days last week (most ever attempted) and was totally exhausted by the last round.. and I go to the gym at least twice a week!

Since I can't walk a full 18 because of persistent ankle problems, I cart. Endurance, then, is not an issue. Maintaining focus is. When you play a lot of rounds it's easy to start daydreaming and to lose your enthusiasm. I have found a way to deal with that. While other golfers use the range to practice, I effectively practice during the round. That way, there's more at stake when I mess up. It does have a way of focusing my attention.

My season ended this Sunday without a birdie. I'll be picking a charity and donating shortly.

Played this morning after not having picked up a club in over 2 weeks. Started with a double bogey after slicing a drive, then topping the second and third shots. Manage to shake off the cobwebs to some extent after that and finished with a 73, which included 3 birdies. With luck I will be playing again tomorrow morning and on the weekend. After that, I should be done until I arrive in Alabama in late December.

Last Thursday birdied both par 5's on front of Premiere but two double Bogies on back nine par 5's cost me my best round ever. Still a great day and my best round this year. Thank God for banked OT!
