    Would this cheap projector work?

    Doesn't need to be great, but cant' be too bad. I know nothing about projectors...

    Yes do not do that, it is only a 640 X 480 resolution you will not be happy with that.

    I'd say, for a golf sim, get at least 1024x768 for a 4:3 screen, or 1280x720 for 16:9 or 16:10.

    I'd also make sure to get something bright enough. I chose the gt750 at 3000 lumens, and just testing on the wall it seems fine, for a projector. I wouldn't want anything less bright.

    Lastly, consider the throw distance. I don't see how anyone would get away with a long throw without super high ceilings or being far away from screen.

    How about contrast ratio? Does that matter as much? What's the min I should be looking for.
