Greens where awesome... 40$ greenfee and I got a 50% off coupon for my next round... that is awesome.. OH and power carts were out !!! and none of this cart path bull... regular rules like in the summer...
I actually think they need to water in some spots it's so dry !!!

Played Emerald Links this afternoon (East-South). Both nines were in awesome shape and very dry, and the greens were running really well. It was definitely worth the 50 bucks.

Played Anderson Links today, the greens are rolling really well and the fairways are in great shape. Can't get over how great the conditions are in March.
Slice, hook, or straight down the middle. It all looks the same on the score card.

Played Emerald Links today and the conditions were great. Unheard of for March. Too bad the forecast doesn't look that good for the week.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Arnprior was a little wet but I'm sure the overnight rain had much to do with that. I was surprised when we arrived and there was only 3 cars in the parking lot. $13.50 for golf....insane and fair! Wish more courses would charge appropriately for the conditions considering this is like found money for them being open this early.

If I was going to play in Ottawa next weekend who has the best greens right now? Thinking Marshes or Emerald? Or??

Can't speak to the Marshes, but the greens at Emerald were in summer shape for all intents and purposes. No bumps or aeration holes at all.
They were definitely mowed at some point during the week. Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Nation's greens were also summer like. Course is solid overall, no wet spots to speak of. But that all depends if you consider Nation in Ottawa, aha

Played Casselview March 25th PM and it was in so-so shape. No wet spots but fairways are patchy, and greens still bumpy from being punched. I was just happy to be out on March 25th.
Lots of yoga pants these days, not enough Yoga!

Prescott was in pretty darn good shape yesterday. Dryest I've ever seen a course in this region in March

Played the Marshes on Sunday March 26th. Could not believe how amazing the course was. Fairways were bone dry and getting a ton of roll. No mudballs anywhere. The greens were in great shape. Smooth, no bumps but just rolling a bit slower than normal. 90 degree cart rule.
Highly recommend!

Braved the conditions today at Irish Hills for a late afternoon round......25 with cart......great price.....greens were punched and ball was bouncing everywhere....If I didnt have a cart cover it would have proly been too cold....
Best greens I have played have to be Prescott, Emerald and Marshes......

I've played Casslview, Falcon ridge and Anderson links and I can honestly say hands down Anderson Links' condition were waaaaaaaaay better than Casselview and Falcon ridge. Honestly I think Casselveiw really needs to give thier heads a shake b/c their conditions and alternate tee boxes and the time of year is not even close to what they are charging oh and Anderson I paid $37 taxes in for 18 holes.....Casselview if you read any of these "you guys are seriously not that great, C'MON MAN!!!!!" LOL.....

There are too many options for courses to get away charging full pop in March. I politely declined playing at 2 courses tomorrow because they were charging full pop and choose Irish Hills for the best deal and least gas. Down the street from the Cheshire Cat is never a bad thing too.
