Pace of Play Survey
I am currently in college in a Professional Golf Management Program and for one of our projects, we have to administer this survey. If you are interested, please answer the 14 questions, it should not take you much longer than 5 minutes as they are all multiple choice or YES or NO questions.
Thank you.
It has been commonly recognized that slow play has become a noticeable issue at local golf courses. For that reason we are conducting a survey in order to assess what might be causing a slow pace of play and what might be some possible solutions. So one guy in the thread thus far does not think that slow play is a problem. I'd be interested to know whereabouts you play?
-
03-20-2012 11:40 AM #21
apparently that would be me, I haven't played a whole bunch in the last few years so maybe I don't notice slow play as much, because when I'm out there I'm just enjoying the day and the company i'm with. Mind you I do keep an eye out behind me to ensure that I'm not holding other groups up ect, and if a faster group catches us I've had no issues with waiting for them on the next tee to let them play through, or hitting our Tee shots and then if they show up let them hit their and play through.

Why should all golfers be entered into a handicap system? Lots of fast-pace players out there don't even keep score.
