    10 years on forum

    I just noticed yesterday I celebrated 10 years since joining OG. I have enjoyed this site very much and hope to continue to frequent the boards. I've learned so much, and met so many great people.

    Happy Forum Birthday!

    Got me wondering how long it had been since I joined the forum and found out that it was 4 years in February. Oh how quick the times flies when you are among friends!

    OG was started in 1996. The first classified ad section was not a forum but were manually posted by myself for people who had items to sell. I suppose it would have been 2 years later that the first forum software was installed. It was not very good I must admit, but it did the job for a few years. In June 2001 I installed VBulliten and that's the same database we use today, with 11 years of posts in it.
