Early season golf

Got out last Friday morning. It was chilly, windy, and I tried to teach myself how to hit a draw...learned how to hit a pull is all. Managed to hit a couple of beauty fades though.

Walked away with a cool 84, but could've been a lot lower if I could just read the damned greens.

No way it continues, it's way too early, it's what we get being Canadian. In one month's time tops you'll be back to where you were last year.

I've gotten 8 rounds in so far and I've played bogey golf in all of them, 88 might be my low round, 91 might be my high round, pretty consistent ty golf. It's a lot of good shot/bad shot and good hole/bad hole. I don't care about the score but I do care about hitting spectacularly bad shots. If this continues, my handicap is going to balloon like the Goodyear blimp.

had a decent round yesterday, drove the ball pretty well (still figuring out the new driver), had a decent iron game and putting and short game was excellent. Had 9 pars (6 on the back nine), no birds and a few others for an 84. All in all, some respectable early season golf. Oh and I beat Reza in our match play which was icing on the cake!
