    Freedom Has Arrived!!!

    So I turned 43 in February and thought it was high time I bought my first Harley Davidson motorcycle.
    I bought a 2007 Sportster 1200 Low and am very excited to ride this summer.
    Any other HD owners on the boards here want to help a newbie with info etc or want to get together this summer for some road trips just let me know.

    Good for you Andy. Did a bit of riding way back and had a Sporster for a short while. They were awfull, shakers and oil leaks all over. I know that they have fixed this with the newer models.

    Thanks Marcos...they have fixed those issues with the newer models. My last bike was a Ninja 600zx crotch rocket....I am more than careful.

    Just buggin'

    The Sporty's are extremely sick rides. Just make sure you don't drink the Harley Kool-Aid when it comes to customizing, you have a ton of options available from the aftermarket world... and available at dealerships other then Harley. For instance Goodtime Center can order anything you find in Drag Specialities, Road Iron and Thibault Heritage, might wanna give those catalogues a peek online.

    Yeah...been visiting the Harley Dealer on Merivale. Could lose a few paychecks in there for sure.
