Courses now open, for golfer's itch at 10+
I just got this information and thought I would pass it on.

Me too, its closer but Foxfire is a fun and challenging course, I like it better than Liverpool.

Yep a little bit closer, Foxfire is a better track than Liverpool for sure, but in the middle of winter you take what is open...

I was wondering the same thing about Calabogie or Prescott or even courses towards Kingston. Hoping for mid next week perhaps...

My sister says they have no snow in Kingston, just a matter of the ground thawing out a bit I guess...

My son in Belleville says the same, no snow and there has been very little all winter.

I will be driving where I need to next Sunday.. guess we will see where that has to be. Weather next week is awesome for now. If I am driving to Syracuse my preferance would be that Raddison on the Greens opens. Great course.

I booked Raddison on the Greens in Syracuse for next Sunday at 10AM. Great Robert Trent Jones course.

I'm looking out my office window at the Marshes and the amount of snow that has disappeared this week is pretty impressive.
If the melt continues at this rate the Ottawa courses with good drainage and exposure will be open early. Of course I have probably just cursed us with a March blizzard. Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

I think Mapleview and Prescott will both be opened in 1 week from today. Maybe it's just my golptimism but I think we are definately in for some really early rounds!

4 of us played Radisson Greens yesterday. Really nice layout and in great shape for March 11!!! A few soggy spots around the course but all greens were open. $20 to play, pull cart included. It was 19 degrees and sunny - played in a short sleeve golf shirt.
