Flightscope indoors/sim
Does anyone have direct experience with the Flightscope in a simulator situation ? I really like the portability and it appears to give more club data than a GC2 (without HMT). I know it won't work for putting. Is it possible to have an additional sensor for putting in the E6 software ? I'm waiting for more info on the x1tbox but that isn't portable and apparently doesn't provide the same level of club info. Thanks

Here you go. Patator might know for sure but I think it's possible to add a putting sensor.

I tried the Flightscope at the PGA merchanidising show. In my quest for a simulator, I was particularly interested in detecting side spin correctly. I had my instructor with me and both he and I hit a few draws and fades. The Flightscope requires you to put a silver dot sticker on the ball, not really much of a hassle. At the show, I was impressed with both the performance of the Flightscope and that of the GC2. A big difference is space requirement - the Flightscope needs a good 10 ft behind the ball, and its performance improves the longer it can track the ball, so room in front is also good.

Hey Guys,
You currently cannot add a putting sensor to the X1, but you can putt on a putting turf and then enter the number of putts into the computer and have the computer calculate the number of putts for you.
For an indoor setup, the X1 or X2 requires the unit be 8 to 10 feet behind the sensor and there be 13 to 14 feet minimum ball flight (distance from tee to screen/net).
You can get the X1 with E6 software here:

Hope that helps, but if anyone has more questions, feel free to contact me at any time (cory@par2pro.com).
Happy Golfing!
Cory
