    Mike Weir - Hate to say it but.....

    Is his career over? +8 yesterday and already +1 today? I really can't see any tournaments giving him a sponsors exemption anymore. I can't really blame them either. Maybe at the next WGC weekend he'll get one. It's too bad. I loved watching him. He was the face of Canadian golf for so long and although there are a few others now to fill that void, mostly Ames, I can't see them being as "visible" as Weir was. I hope some of our others like Hadwin, Hearn, McQuillan, Fritsch and Mills can have great years on the various tours so we have some more Canadians to watch again soon.

    stick him with a fork, cause he is done.

    kinda sad, he was never the same after getting injured.
    I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

    Never say never but, yeah, he's done. The only thing he's got going for him is his Masters win which gives him an opportunity to catch lightning in a bottle at that tournament every year.

    I wonder how his on course performance effects his annual income from other endeavors. I have to assume it discourages sponsorship $$. Are his clothing sales dropping?
