I'm always jealous of my mate that lives in Toronto, keeps sending pics of him playing golf with the beautiful mountain backdrops.

When I was there I played a few different courses. The most 'economical' were Collier Park and Wembley GC. Wembley was a real nice public course, good prices and pretty challenging. Its in the North part of the city and green fees are only $28-34.
On the higher end, obviously you have played The Cut. I really loved The Links at Kennedy Bay, probably in the Top 5 courses I've played ever to be honest. True links course, couple miles from the Ocean, so you get some nice wind coming through... not to mention a lot of kangaroos to watch. Its widely considered #1 in Western Australia and get this.... $45-55 and for some reason its always quiet!!! Course is in Port Kennedy, south of the city, but not as far south as The Cut. If you are staying in Perth for 6+ months I would actually consider a membership. Depending on age, you can get a 6month membership between $870 and $1180 depending on age. Yup for the #1 course in the state!!

Dont be jealous of those in Toronto, golf is stupid expensive, especially compared to Perth. Lets put it this way... there's a course in Toronto called Royal Woodbine, I would compare it to be a little bit better than Collier Park, a little worse than Wembley, not even in the "Top 100 in the Ontario".
Green fees at Royal Woodbine are about $65, 7-day memberships are in excess of $3800/year... the golf year in Toronto MIGHT be 8-9months.
Compare to Kennedy Bay, ranked #1-3 in the State, green fees $45-55 or $1200 for 12-months of golf.
