    Weighing down a head...

So i've got a tri ball srt head on the way that i'm turning into a long putter. I'll need to add close to 150 grams of weight onto it so I plan on filling the two cavities with epoxy and hopefully something that will add a good amount of weight. Any recommendation on what I should use, maybe the size of loonies that I could stack and glue in there?

You can mix lead powder with the epoxy and it will bring the weight up considerably.

Yep. They sell it in a one pound bottle IIRC.

I'm thinking along the lines of the studio select weights, you can buy 25 gram versions so i'm wondering what they are made of. You know, is there something at a hardware store that would be similar, are they Tungsten? I could pop two into each cavity and i would be off to the races.

I found a hobby store online that sells Tungsten cylinders that i'll use. 8 of them are 4 ounces so it should be perfect!

There's two openings I can put these things into would I be best to split them into the two or direct most of the weight towards the back of the putter?

That's a lot of weight to be foolin with and going to a longer putter make's it even trickier. I think you are going to be jumping on the trial and error train with this one.

Definitely the trial and error train, more of a project than anything! I'm 6"6 so it needs to play around 53 inches which isn't a length any of the manufacturers offer!
