    Knee surgery help

Had meniscus surgery in November and I am having issues. Can anyone recommend a specialist/surgeon to see for a second opinion on what may be going on? My surgeon has put me on the back burner and I'd like to see someone else.

Dr. Allan Liew at the Carleton Sports Med. Clinic repaired my shoulder at the end of 2008 and 3+ years later its still dislocation free and pain free.

I had to wait about a year for my surgery but it was worth it.

my buddy just had his meniscus repaired. He's done his ACL and achilles as well. I can find out who the doc was.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Try Dr. John Gordon. He did my right knee - ACL and he saw me when I wrecked my left knee - ACL/MCL etc. (Soccer is tough on the knees). I also did my physio at Carleton U and they are great there.
Good luck - stay positive and work hard in physio.

I have had 13 knee operations after a serious accident many years back and that includes 3 knee replacements; the guy that got me going was Dr. David Backstein out of Toronto Mount Sinai. His specialty is fixing problematic knees that have had botched surgeries or difficulties in recovery.

    Best of luck! Uncletom

Think it is actually Ross Wilkinson. But ya, had meniscus, and Acl repair. Would also recommend.

May be a little late on this but I'd advise you to get back to your GP. He/she would have been the one to make the initial referral and if you are not getting the service you expect or need that should be funnelled back through your GP. I have a very good GP and she will not hesitate to push if needed and find another specialist if the first or second she selects is not quick enough. I've had 3-4 MRI with her and NEVER waited longer than 30 days. Best of luck...
