Mickelson roars to win at Pebble Beach

Was hoping to watch a big head to head match between Phil and Tiger but instead we got the Phil show. Wow did he show up to play today! His finish at 18 pretty much summed it up.

I loved how Nick Faldo mentioned when they were playing the 13th hole that if if had been an old fashioned match play that it would have already been over with Phil winning 7 & 5. Phil played exceptionally well and Tiger did not. Phil has never dissed Tiger's ability and so I was pleased to see Tiger praise the game Phil played alongside him. Some very clutch putts and for the third week in a row the 54 hole leader disappears from the top of the board.

That was great, awesome to see anybody play a round of golf like that.
He hit 13/14 fairways, 14/18 GIR
In the all-important 'strokes gained' category, he gained 4.65 strokes on Sunday alone!!

I heard Tiger had to do the 'Impact test' to determine whether he suffered a concussion from all the high hard bombs Phil threw at him.

Wow that was a great round of golf to watch. HD takes sports watching to another level. It was as enjoyable seeing Phil kick Tiger's * as watching the Pats get beat by the Giants a week earlier.
