it's not doing anything for me
i feel better when i read negative golf threads:
-pitch mark rants
-too much rain
-golf is too expensive
-golfer stabbed for slow play
You only get out of something what you put into it

OK Marcos---as soon as I learn how to make a file associated with my NEW computer---I will post. BTW Hilton Head has been above average all year
Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

Ok--finally figured it out--these were taken at Palmetto Dunes on Hilton Head Island. The third one was taken on Valentines day---there is love in the reptile world
Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

Sorry Marc. The weather has been fantastic this year---have got 12 rounds in so far with another 5 weeks to go---I hope the money holds out. We finally played a course that we stayed away from for 4 years----------------big mistake. It is called Old South--just off the island. It is second in my opinion behind Palmetto Dunes---the first winter course down here that actually has 3 differnt heights of grass. Next year we are buying a play card------------good for 2 years and will keep rounds under 30.00
You do hear folks complaining a bit about costs this year------the only thing I have seen is the price of gasoline and the price of food---accomodation, golf and clothing is par with last year--except clothing is very low. There is a 10% unemployment rate in the "Low Country" but on the island it is an entirely different world. Spring break is just starting so it will get busier---but not crazy like Ft Lauderdale or Panama City Beach.
If your retired and don't want 80 degree weather all the time this is the best bang for the buck. Accomodation 50% less than Florida and weather is approx 10 to 15 degrees warmer than Myrtle. I've been in a golf shirt since January 29th--light jacket at night.Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

Very nice Brian, that looks to be a fantastic course. Glad the weather is good as it is snowing here and really windy and cold.. Enjoy the rest of the season and hit a few for us old guys here.
See you in Buckingham .

Poor Marcel, Gerry and you, having to battle 40mph+ winds to play golf down south. Buckingham today was a very warm -9C. with just a bit of a cold breeze to cool us down us while we were snowshoeing.LOL.
The good news is, tomorow we are expecting +10C. so it wont be long. Enjoy my friends and have a few beers for us.
