    Simulator screen help

I read through a lot of threads last night trying to figure out the best simulator screen to buy. Some of the stories about holes through the screen after just a year of use scares me.
I almost (still might) went with the new SQ from par2pro but I am concerned about longevity. Since it is a fairly new screen it doesn’t really have a track record yet. Even with the beta discount it is around $700. So a little nervous. I also am looking at Carl’s preferred screen. Looks very durable. Has anyone had this screen for a bit? Little nervous about picture quality. The price tag is a lot better. Any info, thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I think the new SQ might be a winner. It’s more heavy duty.

    Hi,
I just installed a premium hitting screen from Carls Place. This would be about my 4th try setting up a hitting screen. So far this screen is the way to go. It is fairly expensive, but has a great picture from the projector and the balls drop straight down.

I have a Carl's Preferred and love it. Been using it going on 7 months and no signs of wear hitting 150+ balls/day.

I use SQ and yes, it is heavy duty - 5 month, so far so good. And the picture quality is outstanding. At least it is much better than my Carl's regular polyester screen.
    Which projector do you have?

The SQ is fairly expensive, but has a great picture from the projector. This link might help out.
