Golftown has the New Cleveland Classic Drivers and mashie FWs on pre-release???

Through a series of events both fortunate and unfortunate I ended up at the kanata GT store last night, and despite the facts:

a) I have been monitoring their website daily for a month,
b) the new driver, FWs and irons are all due for release in mid-february, and
c) the driver is one of the most talked about drivers out this year,

apparently GT got them in and decided to tell no one???

I would have thought they'd atleast acknowledge they had the cleveland stuff in a leaderboard letter or something, no?

In any event, the LH pickings are slim, and they didn't have any 310s, but if you guys were as excited for the release as I was, they have the classic 270 and 290 for 339, and the 310s will be 399 with the upgraded kusala black.

They also have the mashie fairways (again selection was limited) for 199, but I didn't notice if the mashie irons were in.

Anyway I am really confused

1) how they got clubs pre-release, and

2) why they wouldn't say they had them


either way... Im hoping to get in this weekend to give them a try.

I was there last night as well to get some more clubs re-gripped and whammo, there they are, very strange indeed.
