Zmax, try the free SwingReader app. It will basically give you the same thing. I returned the Swingbyte. Not yet ready for prime time.

Swingreader looks like iswing. It does not calculate numbers. Swingprofile would ne the better option. No android again but they promise android and Windows next year.
Still think swingbyte will be handy if they can fix targetline and it is accurate.

Gotcha! Just though there was something I was missing. Hang in there. Hopefully Swingbyte makes the needed Targetline adjustment. Any word!

latest from SB;
CPA,
We appreciate support for Swingbyte, and I assure you my disappearance of late has had more to do with the fast-approaching PGA show than any deadlines. I can tell you we've got some really cool things coming online at the show, you won't be disappointed.
Thanks,
Alex.

New to the forum, just wanted to chime in on the Swingbyte and clones. I just purchased the SwingTip and have taken about a hundred swings with it. I really like the mounting hardware and the alignment sight is ingenius, allows you to align the device with the club head easily. Havent had any problem with slippage once it is mounted. The swing path data seems to be accurate and I think having the visual feed back will probably help my swing. I am not sure about the swing speed readings I am getting. I have only tested with a wedge and an 8 iron. Says my average swing speed with the 8 is around 46 mph. I've never had my swing speed measured so I don't know it that is accurate. I hit my 8 around 135 to 140 yards, from what I have read online, 70-80 mph would seem more realistic, but not sure. On the software end I think there is room for improvement and hopefuly the company will come up with some upgrades.
I would prefer to be able to track individual clubs, not just Irons, woods and driver. That seems like a no brainer to me so I hope they incorporate that. Also slow motion replay and the ability to rotate the image manualy would be nice. Currently you have Top view, Target view and Frontal. For $129.00 I have been fairly pleased with the results but I have never used a golf simulator or anything so I have nothing to compare it to.

That swing speed is way off. Usually these devices are good with the speed but questionable with things like the face angle etc. I am suprised with your low swing speed readings?

Thanks Frans. I do have my doubts about these swing analyzers. That is a bad error tolerance if so!

I agree Bubba. Would have thought the X2 would have given the numbers and be able to do everything SB does with greater accuracy. Do I have to buy the X2 to make SB accurate and work?

What's in it for Flightscope????? If it helps improve Swingbyte accuracy and the cost is the same then "hooray" for Swingbyte and all its end users, but Flightscope??? What do they get???

Good one Z
I cannot see any screenshots on Fightscope site of 3d swing. Thought X2 could do that?
