Tiger unhappy with Haney for writing book

Tiger Woods appreciates all that Hank Haney has meant for his career, but the golfer took issue Thursday with his former coach for writing a book scheduled to be released before the Masters.

I think his comments surrounding the book are just as unprofessional as the book itself. People only have problems with books for two reasons 1. they can't read and 2. when there is something to tell that people don't know. What else is Tiger hiding that could possibly be in this book? May be he doesn't want to know just how much of a d!ick he is to work with. Personally I can't wait for the book to come out.

I personally think these "tell all" books are unfair. I realize Haney has the right to write about his time with Tiger, however, Tiger should be allowed to keep certain things personal, when some things happened, he trusted Haney as a friend and coach and now Haney get's to cash in by revealing tiger secrets. My position applies to all these books, not just this one. When two parties are involved, the other person should have a right to say yay or nay on the book. Just my opinion.

Tiger paid $10M+ to keep his lady friends quiet, same with his wife only a lot more than that. Could've paid Haney too, but he didn't, so my guess is he doesn't actually care too much and is just posturing. In any case, who cares what Tiger thinks anymore, who he likes or dislikes? Let's see him win some tournaments if he wants to get away from the dreck of his past two years.

There is a lot of speculation as to the type of book this is going to be. I heard an interview with Haney about the book and from his description it doesn't sound like it's going to be a "tell all" type of book. I guess we will all have to wait and see.

Just a way for Haney to make a buck! It's business.

Tiger is a big boy, he can defend himself. I say let Haney all the books he wants. I would read it but I would rather see him play golf and make headlines for golf and nothing else.
    Obviously you're not a golfer.

Tiger is public domain. Personally won't read the book. I love watching golf, and I love the good stories in golf. Don't need to waste time on the rest.

Whether his book is about business, Tiger's personal life, or a bit of both, Haney crossed the line. But I guess if there is money to be made ethics doesn't count. Hank won't be getting my $59.95 (US), tuvm!

Guys, it's silly that Woods didn't make him sign a confidentiality agreement. Short sighted on Woods' part.

Seems to me that Tiger's objection will help sell books. This is perfect marketing for Haney. I wonder if they made a deal?

Yeah I guess trusting a guy ( friend ) is short sighted??? Not at all, guy backstabbed him, and is ambulance chasing now. I guess when he lets anyone into his life he should get them to sign something........Its called respect. Hank shot himself with any major players moving forward. He can't be trusted.
