    Cameron Selects - 2012

Thought I would post this for any Cameron enthusiasts that haven't seen it yet. I personally can't wait to get a belly version of the Big Sur or the new GoLo.

    They look alright.

I definitely like the new weights, deep milling is definitely awesome, and the black is a nice change if that is what you are looking for. black paintfill in the alignment aid seems odd for a black putter though? Would have to see that in person.

I didn't look that closely - do these have the new pistolero grip? I didnt like this grip at all on the new californias - seemed almost like a midsize and kinda clunky (actually, don't like the new California series at all - the whole putter head seems just a slight bit bigger than the previous series? The whole putter seems clunky? Like one of those cheap "Big Dog" putters from the mid 90s)

I will certainly looking at a belly Big Sur. I haven't decided whether I want a center shaft or not.

I think the black alignment aide is there to be able to line up your ball, but not to be distracting. Scotty is a huge fan of the "murdered out" look with everything on the head in black, so it really is no surprise to see this type of color setup. I believe they do have the pistolero as they are shown in the pic below to have them, but these are from the tour slide show, so I am not 100% sure that the OTRs will have them.

I will be picking up a Big Sur Center shafted long putter for sure.. A lot of great additions this year. I would have liked to have seen the golo mallet in a long.

definitely going to have a good look at the GoLo S Mid and Newport 2 Mid. I really wish the Newport 2 had a plumbers neck though, it would have been an automatic lock.

I do not believe either of the mallets are face balanced which I would have liked. Even the center shafted Big Sur isn't face balanced.

Too bad about the GoLo not being face balanced

The Titleist forums indicate April 1st release date, with a May 1st release for the Mid and Longs.
