    Returning Beer Cans

When bringing beer cans back to the beer store for a refund, can they be crushed? Or do they need to count the cans?

At my local beer store, once they know you, you can crush them, bag them and they will take your word for the number.
Maybe I go there too often. LOL

Do they ever give you a hard time when returning all of those Quebec cans???
If you think it's hard to meet new people, try picking up the wrong golf ball.

Never had an issue. In the past I've returned hex's in their original packaging to the beer store.

My normal way of getting rid of cans is to fill a garbage bag or similar, count @ home tell them the # when I hand it off. Can't remember the last time someone asked me to count the bag for them...That said I'd bet it varies heavily by location.

On Québec side, almost all groceries have can cruchers . You pass them all through a hole and at the end a receip is print and you cash it. Isn't it the same in Ontario?

AFAIK the only return option in Ontario is the beer store.

I return QC Hex's to Ontario beer store in Orleans in original packaging all the time. Never an issue.
