Club fitting vs Launch analysis

Guys,

Looking for advise on how to spend some $$$. Does club fitting cover the driver as well as the other clubs or should I consider the driver separately?

Looking at a local pro, offering club fitting as one session and another session for launch analysis for the driver. Is this logical?

It's likely that I've plateau'd and am now resorting to blaming the clubs but I've never tried club fitting and always used off-the-shelf clubs. So I'm willing to give it a try, but don't know which way to go, club fitting or launch analysis, or if there should be a difference.

Let me hear your thoughts.

Depends on where you go and how many different clubs you want to try.. from personal experience it is difficult to fit the both into a one hour session. But it is definitley worth the invested money.

IMO, you should be fit separetly for for whatever you bag will be made up of. Driver, fw woods, hybrids, irons, wedges and putter. That is, if you want to do it properly. Clubfitting is process and no time limit should be used unless you want the Coles notes version. If you are on the clock , and beeing provided with a cookie cutter style fitting, then you are not benefitting from a true fitting experience. Every customer is unique and requires a fitting technique that suites them.

The launch monitor is extremely usefull for all fitting parameters, not just for the driver.
