    New tV

So Ijust bought a new bigscreen:

    Got an LG 55" 1080p 120hz Model #55LK520

Awesome out of the box. Still need a HD receiver but movies and the SD feed look great.
I have a LG TV, Samsung blu ray, Yamaha Receiver and bell expressvu receiver. Four remotes. AAgggg!!! I am looking at the Logitech 700 Universal remote. On sale at Future Shop for $69. Anyone use these remotes? Any input, advice, reviews?

    Thanks

I have a Harmony for each of my flatscreen setups. I also bought them for my Dad's TV/Stereo component systems here and in Florida. Wouldn't think of using anything else.

I have the harmony one. Great remote.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

The harmony is awesome. I have one too and it does everything - and you set it up on your computer. Really nice unit and intrface. I think it's much more expensive than the model you asked about though.

Whatever one you get make sure it comes with the cradle to recharge it otherwise you will be going through a set of batteries a month

I think I change the battery in my Harmony(s) once a year...and the sets are used all the time.

I bought the Harmony Logitech 700. Awesome remote. Easy to set up and use. Rechargeable(plugs into wall). Its on sale until tomorrow at future shop at $69.99 well worth it in my opinion. Says it can replace 8 units but web says 6, either is good for me. Already threw the original remotes in the junk drawer!....Bought two blu rays for $9.99 each. 300 and Shawshank Redemption. WOW!!! What a great tv.

Congrats on the TV... Great buy.

As far as the SD feed.... believe me, when you see the HD feed you won't find the SD looks great... I can't stand SD feed... and you will see why... with that nice TV you have to buy an HD receiver immediately... and PVR would be better...

Going to get the hd/pvr receiver asap. Just have to get the family I rent from with to order me one and add it to their account.(Satellite tv is included in rent.) Have to weigh costs of renting a unit over purchasing new and adding to account.
