    GPS- SGX or Platinum

I'm looking for a new GPS to replace my Callaway and GT has a Skycaddie SGX and Golfbuddy Platinum on sale at $349 each. I'm not fond of annual fees. Salesman at GT states they sell Skycaddie 3 to 1 over Golfbudddy. The sale is on this weekend only. Any advice on these units?

    SGX plan for Canada/US is a double-eagle at $69.95.

I just have Canada, and at $40 / yr for the updates it's worth it. I used to have intelligolf on my phone which worked well enough, but every year was an upgrade for about $40 so it was the same thing annually. No regrets here.

I have owned both, had the golfbuddy ,returned it, some of the holes
were way off on yardage , verfied with laser range finder.

Went to GT and picked up the SGX and got an extra discount with my Glenlivet coupon. It will be my Christmas gift from my GF, so I can afford the annual fees now. Also, with my coupon and gift card, I snagged a new Scotty Cameron California Sea Mist Del Mar. I seldom miss any putts at GT with that putter.
