    .355 tip hybrid

    Got a .355 hybrid I want to re-shaft (08' burner rescue T2).

Hybrid shafts in .355 tip are limited so I was hoping I could get some advice/opinions on what my other options,if any, are? is it possible to shim a .350 fairway shaft into it (if even recommend)? can I use a graphite iron shaft or are they too weak in the tip to accomodate the heavy hybrid head? Can I shave down a .370 hybrid shaft to fit the .355 tip? Thanks in advance.

.355 hosels and shafts are tapered, so shimming and shaving are pretty much out of the question. The head weights between a long iron and a hybrid are very similar, so you should be fine. Golfworks sells the Arthur Extreme line in .355 and they are very good. You could also consider ultra-light steel if you want to keep the weight down. Graphite hybrid shafts are usually in the 85-95 gram range, and UL steel can be had in that range as well.
When applying the Rules, you follow them line by line. You don't read between them.

All .355 graphite iron shafts are sanded down at the factory and are .370 to begin with. It is OK to do so because of the thicker walls.
Your other option is to have the head reamed to .370
