Slightly OT: Anyone have experience with Insight iTrainer?
This is intended to be more of a training device than a sim but does anyone have experience with this device?

Although the website does not seem to explicitly disclose what type of sensors it uses, my guess is that the device uses microfabricated accelerometers and gyroscopes to gather information.
This link lists the types of information the device can gather and/or calculate:

If it's accurate, it shouldn't be that difficult to convert to a sim.
EDIT: The website mentions that they are planning to release a sim that goes with this device.

Seems somewhat inpractical for sim use. Do you have to place and replace on every different club? How accurate is it really? As always, interested in some feedback if anyone has one.

Good point Bubba. Although at their price point, their main competitor would be DD and possible P3Pro and one could argue that the advantages of the iTrainer over the competition is it should work under any lighting and can easily be used outdoors as well as indoors. The downside is having to detach and reattach the sensor for each club. If the sensor can be attached/detached easily, I don't think it would be that big of deal as long as the device is fairly accurate.
