Golf in Dallas

Three of us are heading down to watch the Cowboys play on American Thanksgiving. Already booked a round at Cowboys Golf course and looking for some other course suggestions in the area. Also if anyone has had less than ideal experiences on any course that would be good to hear as well as this is a bucket list weekend and we are looking to make it as fun as possible. Suggestions for post round beverages and meals are welcome, thanks

I was in Dallas earlier this year.

I would definitely recommend The Tribute. It has replica holes of all of the famous British Open holes. Conditions when we played were very good as was the service.

On the same road that leads to the Tribute there is another course, The Old American, which looked pretty nice too. Didn't get a chance to play that one but would have liked to.
