Simulator exterior

Any suggestions on fabric or other material to cover the outside of my cage with? I'm looking to give this more of a "home theater" feel.download.jpgdownload (1).jpg

I had the same setup as you originally. I drafted a design for a large cover to go over the cage, then emailed it to some drapery/cloth supply stores to get quotes on having it custom made (proper edges, grommets, etc.). I went with a heavy polyester black type material. It was pricey (in the $500 range I believe) but I had quotes up to well over $1K so I was happy with that one. It turned out really great.

Wow, that's a lot moolah for a cover. I am going with "heavy" black muslin from a ebay photopraphy company. It cost me about 50 cents a square foot.

Yeah...if I'd just bought the material it would have been a lot cheaper, but I had them create it for me with all the seams, edges, grommets, etc. I'm really happy with it, but you're right...it was a lot to spend.

Yeah, you have to figure in all the labor for that cage! Probably worth it in the end.
