Dan - possible virus in the handicap tracker!
Dan, I keep getting a virus alert when trying to enter my latest score in the hadicap system. Has anyone else experienced this since yesterday? I have tried repeatidly to enter it but it comes back with a database error message from the site. At about the same time I get the error message, Kaspersky sends out a virus warning on my system. Please let me know if it's just me. Thanks!

I think there is other issues as well in the obnline booking system too. Tried to cancel a teetime and it came up with error messages as well.

I am still getting virus alerts when trying to enter scores in the HC tracker. I have had friends tell me that they have been able to enter scores since last night with no issues. Unfortunately, I keep getting Trojen horse script warnings and the drop down for course selections isn't working for me. It says it will allow a manual entry though. I'm not sure what to do at this point but I will keep trying daily until it is resolved.

RED Yours is the only report we have of any virus alerts. It may be a false alarm. Of course if anyone else is having an issue please let us know.

I keep having a virus show up in Kaspersky when I try and add a round in the Handicapping system.
Obviously you're not a golfer.

It might be from the ads on the side. That is a known problem occasionally.
It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.

Due to this fact the HC tracker will not allow us to make an entry. It prevents the drop downs for course selection from appearing and wants to default to manual entries. I was however, able to logon at work and submit my entries from there. I just can't enter them from home at this point.

What are the differences between the 2 systems you are using Red?
I cannot reproduce this problem.Life dinnae come wit gimmies so yuv got nae chance o' gitt'n any from me.

In Kaspersky I shutoff Web Filter and and it worked fine.
You turn it off for the 2 minutes it takes to add your round, then turn Web Filter back on and everything is happy again.Obviously you're not a golfer.

So far it seems to only affect Kapersky users. Nothing has changed on our side. We are putting this down to a false alarm from Kapersky unless new errors are reported.

I'll try break68's recommendation and turn off the web filter to see if that works. Dan, as far as the system differences between work and home... I have no idea what they are running on the servers here at work but i guess it's not Kaspersky.
