Skycaddie records my ESC properly, looking at my last round on Club SG I see a 6 on a par 3 flashing it's middle finger at me...

did you change the settings? I am currently using RCGA on club SG, and it is ESC-ing me to a max double. I can change it to USGA or CONGU

Until you mentioned it, I never realized I could set it to the different associations. Mine's set to USGA. Aren't they the same now?

...well, I converted mine to USGA, and I'm still getting my 7s converted to max doubles.

Skycaddie thinks you should be single digit obviously, it wants you to work harder.

No, I fixed that yesterday with a career-high 107 at Mississippi, featuring a 14 on the par 5 3rd hole, and the Skycaddie now understands I'm max 7.

...and to resurrect this thread from (good lord!) almost 3 years ago. My skygolf account still only gives me max double, putting my index there at 10.9 today. Over on Golf Canada, with the max 7 setting applied, I'm a 12.2. With the identical gross scores entered, this was a pretty significant change to ESC, at least for me. It is 2 strokes at my home course.

Please, just do it correctly, even if you have to do it manually (heaven forbid). It's not that hard!

My official Golf Canada handicap is %100 accurate, thanks, and I DO enter it manually.

I've set the SkyGolf (an unofficial cap) settings to max 7, however, when I connect my device to it, and the automatic upload occurs, it reverts to max double. I'm not bothering to go onto that site and edit every score hole by hole for an unofficial cap. It is an interesting exercise to point out the result of the change in the rules, and that is all.
