Question Player of the Year... or Not

Are these two different POY Awards? USA Today is announcing that there will be a delay in the balloting for the PGA Tour Player of the Year... http://www.usatoday.com/sports/golf/...ots/50893732/1

    Apparently so... Read on McDuff!

Thanks, Jeff. Your post reminded me that the PGA if America awards, in the basis of points, a POY award, whereas the PGA Tour awards one based on player votes.

no worries. I was just informed of this myself. The PGA is a mess IMHO with all of this stuff - Money Title, POY, POY #2, FedEx Cup, majors, Scoring Average, like really, can it get more confusing or watered down as to who is the winner? Should the FedEx Cup Playoffs be the end of the year? Or shouldn't last weekend which was supposed to be the last tournanment, be the end, no wait, there are two more we forgot about, let's use those as well.
