    Question Easy Question

It looks like January 14-ish will be the drop-dead date for NHL hockey this year. Hockey season, yes or no?
When applying the Rules, you follow them line by line. You don't read between them.

    Well, actually I do care.

Not about the players, not about the owners.

I think about the people who work at the Corel Centre and restuarants in the area. Someone who is going to school and works part-time at the concession stands. Or the single mom who takes on a part-time waitressing job just to put food on the table...

The owners and players can all go jump in the lake (yes, I know it's frozen over.)

As a fan, I like watching the Juniors... much better than the stuff you see in the regular season of the NHL...
    Thanks for the screen-time.

I was talking about the players and the game itself. Watching the 67's and now the junior worlds is always great hockey. You;re right about those people in the "industry", who are out in the dark because of some greedy players and owners. That is a tragedy in itself.

Yeah, where is the strike pay for those people?
They should start a class action suit against the n.h.l and n.h.l.p.a.!
perhaps maybe half of the 10.000 a month the players are getting.

I haven't missed hockey at all. As long as I keep playing then I'm satisfied.

I think the NHL will go bankrupt and start from scratch. The people in the "industry" are the ones most suffering moneywise.

I am of the opinion that we've got at least one more full calendar year to wait. Can't settle a labour dispute if neither side is talking.

The players will get their come uppance in this whole process though. They should have spent their time negotiating a higher cap figure than that whole stupid salary rollback idea.
