Projector Use In Cold Tempertures

Just got my Optishot and I'm working on a garage based setup for the winter.

Can anyone tell me if I should be concerned with operating a projector in an unheated garage during the winter in temperatatures at or below freezing?

I'm trying to decide whether to get a short thow projector installed on the garage ceiling; or a regular throw projector, live with some shadow and bring the projector in and out each time I use the Optishot.

You can match operating temp of projector with your local temp. If you can store your projector indoors while not in use, it can be used even far below freezing point.
