getting rid of old stove
Hey,
I'm getting a new stove, and wondering what my options are for getting rid of the old one. It's an old electric, and its not really in sell-able condition. Are there any companies that pick up? Preferably for free? thanks

You could check with City of Ottawa "Take it back" programs

Put it out on the curb, It will disappear in no time. People pick it up for scrap metal money. Put my BBQ out it was gone in an hour

Ya, we just put it out on the curb, and it was gone pronto. If anyone's wondering, there are also a few people that advertise such services on the classified sites...i had a couple lined up in case it didn't go quickly.
